One of the founder members of the club is hanging up his paddle ….

Well not quite.  Colin is moving up to the Northwest coast of Scotland near Loch Ewe, so I am sure there will be lots of paddling to be done.  Colin and his wife have bought a B&B in Aultbea so if anyone is up that way then let us know and we will pass on Colins contact details.

Colin has always made himself available for most coaching sessions, and is always on hand to help with our many trips away.  One of the best moments was on the Tyne Tour a couple of years ago, watching him do Warden Gorge in his open boat backwards after not quite making an eddy.  He has been a great help for our improving Polo team.  From the very start Colin ensured that we understood the rules and he turned up every week to referee.  Good luck to you both!
